ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s former defense minister Parvez Khattak on Saturday spoke out against Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s government and the extraordinary surge in inflation at a rally in Islamabad’s Parade Ground. He said that the turnout “against inflation” had exceeded everyone’s expectations. The Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) leader added, “First I want to congratulate Imran Khan that on July 17 we are going to win the by-elections in Punjab by a great margin.” Further, he said, Imran Khan brought inflation under control and reduced the price of oil and electricity. The PTI leader from KPK province claimed that the people are sensible, and the public will give a two-thirds majority to Imran Khan. “Nowadays, cases are being made against prominent leaders of PTI to pressurize them.” Earlier tonight, Sheikh Rashid said that the revolution has come under the leadership of Imran Khan, and Imran Khan is the voice of all of Pakistan. Moreover, Babar Awan also addressed the rally against the Shehbaz Sharif government and the unprecedented hike in inflation, he said that the conspiracy against Imran Khan had been exposed.
